NCI is looking for a self-driven Document Management Specialist- Implement and administer enterprise-wide document management systems and related procedures that allow organizations to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.   - Be part of the Transition-in Team to transition operations from incumbent to NCI and then fulfill duties as the Document Management Specialist on the program.  - Controls, tracks, and updates the receipt, identification, categorization, recording, and documentation of all IT assets for all hardware, software, and infrastructure assets, including asset tagging and distributing assets to associates. - Processes hardware and software tasks in ticketing system for new installs, uninstalls, database updates inquires and disposals, updating asset records to the correct assignments. - Monitors, reports and coordinates the maintenance of company assets with business owners, including new purchases and retirement of assets. - Perform auditing through data collection and analysis for software and hardware to identify incorrect data entries, end of life, inactive software and hardware usage and inactive users. - Track configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle (development, production, deployment, and operational support) until disposal. - Reconciliation of asset records when discrepancies are discovered in the database through the audit process or independently discovered. - Directs and consults on the purchase and installation of hardware and software assets including versioning, maintenance, pricing, and license quantity. - Prepares and communicates recommendations for purchasing and removing software and hardware based on audit results and properly follows-up to ensure recommendations are acted upon. - Assists in the development of asset standards involving the identification, classification, and control of assets. - Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure compliancy for hardware and software assets organization wide. - Participate in monthly reviews to improve audit process and recommend new auditing to maintain tighter controls around company assets. - Provides reporting of audit findings to management. - Participates in establishing organization-wide technical assessment approval criteria and standards at the Change Management Board (CMB). - Evaluates the proposed change compliance with policy and standards in place. - Determines if an existing system can meet the requirements. If an existing system can satisfy the stated requirements. - The specialist will perform data entry to manage equipment life cycle and warranty dates. - Other duties as assigned by the Government, contract or supervisors.

Respond immediately to escalations, events, and customer requests. - Monitor the Call Management System to ensure calls are being answered with speed. Retrieve voice mails received by the Service Center and convert to tickets. - Establish email schedule to ensure requests via IT Service Center mailbox and/or faxes are being answered promptly and efficiently. - Contribute to Hot Button Resolution Times and monitor team results in this area to assure the team consistently meets the Contract Service Level Metrics. - Perform the duties of a technical expert on the shift. - Instruct, correct, and train and mentor the Service Desk team in the proper performance of the standard operating procedures and professional customer interaction. - Participate in daily reporting requirements to team and management as well as function as the team “GO-TO” for any operational questions and support. - Ensure proper ticket escalation and hand off procedures are follow and first call resolution targets are achieved. - Daily ticket auditing to ensure proper categorization of tickets and completion of notes and summaries. - Analyze the team’s performance metrics to identify knowledge or process gaps and target areas for continuous improvement. - Account for everyone on team daily. Provides connect, protect, storage, computing, common IT services, hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.   Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).  Oversees the security posture for one or more system(s) throughout the entire lifecycle; provides continuous monitoring through scheduled audits, controls testing, and audit reviews, and escalates issues as needed. Oversees the implementation of information technology (IT) security controls and security authorization documents; and ensures the system is compliant with mandated security policies and requirements. Provides technical recommendations for all Risk Assessments and Vulnerability Assessments conducted for the system or site. Provides security analysis of IT activities to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place and being enforced. Coordinates penetration testing or other 'red team' activities that might occur at/or traverse the systems infrastructure as part of a Security Control Assessment (SCA). The Measurement and Reporting practice is governed by the Measurement and Reporting Model, Measurement and Reporting Relationship Practice and Processes Standing Operating Procedures (PPSOP) and continually improved using Value Stream Mapping techniques. The TMP is responsible for the Toolset for Integrated Service Management (TISM) database and the personnel required to develop, deploy, and maintain the TISM. The TMP oversees the practice managers and TISM Team for the practices above and ensures the documentation is complete and updated annually or as required.  Advises the service delivery manager, service managers and practice managers on service integration techniques, for ServiceNow and TISM.  The TMP identifies objectives for ITSM processes management and execution.  Supports development and implementation of IT service management practices for all phases of the EITaaS Pilot at all locations.
