Responsibilities

NCI: As the Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) ICAM Engineer you will support the future of the Army’s enterprise IT services. As the Army drives towards its 2028 Modernization Strategy and postures to the era of great power competition put forth in the National Defense Strategy, we must operate and defend our networks ruthlessly. The Army’s communications network is the foundational weapons platform for the entire force. All Army operations depend on timely, reliable delivery and transmission of data. The Army is moving towards rapid and reliable Army Enterprise support and offerings. EITaaS is commercial delivery and management of protected IT services from the enterprise to the point of need (user) on the Department of Defense Information Network-Army (DODIN-A). Provides connect, protect, storage, computing, common IT services, hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Experience with IdAM procedures, policies, technologies and services. Familiarity with EITaaS ICAM architecture components in:
    • Identity Management technology including current Army technologies such as Enterprise Access Management System – Army (EAMS-A)
    • Access Management (Okta)
    • Identity Governance (Saviynt)
    • Identity Data Services (Radiant Logic)
    • Privileged Access Management (BeyondTrust)
    • Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
    • VMware (Workspace One Access)
    • Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  • Support implementation and standardization of ICAM on the EITaaS network in support of the EITaaS initiative, in addition to:
    • Identify and provide recommendations for enterprise hardware and software requirements for the ICAM portion of the network for Government review.
    • Provide security engineering and analysis supporting the implementation of ICAM within the EITaaS environment.
    • Conduct and document security risk threat assessments, prepare recommendations for implementing countermeasures.
    • Provide security-related technical expertise for Government evaluations of the hardware and software components.
    • Provide processes and procedures, input determination and analysis to the security policies, risk analysis, accreditation package analysis, and engineering change proposal analysis
    • Provide security expertise to support development of operational CM baselines for ICAM tools and systems; Support the development of procedures, such as an implementation guide, to ensure technical solutions and schedules are identified within established suspense dates.
    • Review and recommend alignment of project requirements with related ICAM applications and enterprise designs and plans. Provide engineering integration support to mitigate unforeseen technical issues during CCRM.
    • Conduct ICAM and enterprise testing for related operational ATO submission. Provide and document design integration of proposed technologies for the Army Enterprise design construct.
    • Provide ICAM sustainment engineering and analysis support.
    • Provide advisory technical support in defining, documenting, and sustaining system internal (Army) and external (DISA) common interfaces for consistent and persistent delivery of IdAM services as delivered.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Information Assurance Certification: IAT II – one of the following (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
  • Computing Environment Certification: MCSA or equivalent.
  • Education: Bachelor’s 4 - 9 years’ experience
