Responsibilities

NCI: As a Cyber Threat Analyst I, you will provide (24x7x365 shift support) services in support of the United States (U.S.) Army Cyber Command’s (ARCYBER) mission, to direct and conduct integrated Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO), and Cyberspace Operations, as authorized or directed, to ensure freedom of action in and through cyberspace and the information environment, and to deny the same to adversaries. Cyber Threat Analyst II. Contributes to developing analytical threat models and provides advice to threat studies personnel. Supports teams providing other technical services such as computer software system design/development, installation and integration planning, testing, and support of a wide-range of systems that support intelligence functions. Conducts project briefings to assess study progress and to ensure consistency in meeting objectives. Prepares, submits and presents reports and issue papers. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Contributes to developing analytical threat models and provides advice to threat studies personnel
  • Supports teams providing other technical services such as computer software system design/development, installation and integration planning, testing, and support of a wide-range of systems that support intelligence functions
  • Conducts project briefings to assess study progress and to ensure consistency in meeting objectives
  • Prepares, submits and presents reports and issue papers
  • Prepares Priority Incident Reports such as CDVs, incidents of interest, etc. to the Battle Captain on a daily basis
  • Responsible for preparing and updating Cybersecurity Service Provider accreditation documentation as required.
  • Prepares and maintains Authority to Operate documentation as required.
  • Provide network and infrastructure assessments as required

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience performing threat analyses and developing threat models
  • Conducted research and analysis of intelligence and related data support of threat studies
  • Experience providing advice, guidance and direction to threat studies team
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of advanced threat analysis technology in such areas as telecommunications, IT, and cyber warfare
  • Top Secret SCI, Poly required.

Education and Preferred Certifications and Experience:

  • HS +11-14 Years or
  • BA/BA 5-10 Years or
  • MA/MS +3-6 Years.
