Responsibilities

NCIAs PMO Analyst, you are responsible for reviewing and analyzing schedule, cost, and scope for several projects across multiple funding lines, supporting program risk-management efforts, tracking and reporting on project integration into program objectives, and communicating insights to the program manager, project technical leads, and project business analysts. You apply Agile best practices to ensure the delivery of technical solutions and ensure the program meets its objectives.  Additionally you research, identify, and tailor industry best practices to improve program team performance. In assuming this position, you are a vital contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

 

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with the Program Manager to deliver reliable, maintainable, and adaptable software solutions that meet stakeholder and client requirements and business needs
  • Maintain, track, forecast, and report on program costs as they relate to revenue
  • Support resource management activities as they relate to on-boarding and off-boarding staff, maintaining accountability of hardware and software requirements
  • Communicating program and project status through creating and editing monthly contract deliverable status and resource reports and preparing correspondence in response to ad-hoc information requests
  • Tracking project and program milestones and deliverables against the program schedule to support timely delivery of software solutions
  • Assist the program manager in tracking team performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop briefing material for senior agency leadership
  • Coordinate and gather data to support weekly reporting
  • Develop presentations, meeting notes, and other meeting support documents
  • Comply with corporate/customer requirements for documentation and reporting
  • Provide exceptional customer support to the business

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate complex topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Outstanding analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a group and interact with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
  • 0 - 3 years of experience

 

 

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
