Responsibilities

NCI: As an On Site Property Clerk/Warehouseman, you will provide services in support of the Army Product Director Acquisition, logistics, and Technology Enterprise systems and Services (PD ALTESS).  PD ALTESS provides enterprise class data center services ranging from server hosting, software design and system architecture to lifecycle management, problem solving and Enterprise Service desks for PD ALTESS hosted customers and associated users. PD ALTESS has a mission to keep systems up and running and serving customers twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and three hundred sixty-five days a year. PD ALTESS supports multiple missions throughout the DoD, Army and Federal workspaces. Data centers supported are expansive and integrated across multiple geographical locations, consisting of both physical and virtual architectures, supporting hundreds of programs, thousands of virtual servers and millions of users worldwide. The missions we supported is varied and complex. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Qualifications

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Capable of being proactive and working independently with minimal technical direction.
  • Communicate in an effective manner.
  • Under direct and indirect supervision, assists the Asset Management Division with Property Book operations in the area of inventory, storage management, and equipment coordination.
  • Establishes hand receipt files and maintains accountability using hand receipt listings.
  • Assures that all authorized property is on hand or has been requisitioned. Coordinates the assignment and transfer of inventory.
  • Schedules, directs and conducts periodic inspections, to ensure stock items are serviceable, properly stored, accounted for and maintained.
  • Assists with shipping and receiving functions such as receipt of equipment, scanning of packing slips, storage/issuing/delivery of materials, and coordination for disposal of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience:  BA+ 4 years experience
  • Knowledge of supply and equipment management processes, related regulations, and ability to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property.
  • Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare forms and reports, plans and working instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team based, highly collaborative environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (required); Access, Project (desired)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
