  • Responsibilities

    NCI: The Prinicipal Subcontracts Administrator (Subcontracts Administrator IV) will act as the formal interface between our organization and its customers (US Government or higher-tier contractor) in support of our government programs.In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

     

     

    Highlights of Responsibilities:

    • May lead and mentor other subcontract administrators assigned to programs
    • Negotiates cost and price based proposals within the business goals and documents the substance of discussions, agreements and results
    • Reviews contractual documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations
    • Acts as a focal point with other departments for resolution of problems regarding subcontract requirements, all contractual communications and commitments
    • Represents Subcontract Management on program and RFP teams
    • Advises and supports business team on issues/developments relative to assigned subcontracts
    • Monitors program performance for scope changes and takes appropriate action
    • Builds customer relationships and knows customer needs and issues
    • Documents all files in a CPSR compliant manner

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
    • 7 - 12 years of experience in a similar role
