    As an Enterprise IP-VTC Unified Capabilities Systems Administrator - Senior, you will provide non-personal Army Enterprise Internet Protocol Video TeleConference (IP-VTC) services supporting the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). Provide IT support to NETCOM and NETCOM supported organizations for Department of Defense (DoD) Information Network (DoDIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, and systems used/provided by the Army. Support is required in the NETCOM managed Department of Defense Information Network - Army (DoDIN- Army) Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) environments. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments

    • Support for NIPR and SIPR VTC's and Unclassified/Classified meetings
    • Support for NIPR and SIPR VoIP endpoints and soft clients
    • Responsible for all aspects of Operating and Maintaining (O&M) the secure configuration/upgrade VoIP/VTC systems including end user devices, hardware and software, and paperwork to include, but not limited to, IAVA DRA’s/POA&M’s, STIGs, and RMF supporting artifacts
    • Schedule and maintain VTC calendars to include coordination with remote facilities, and ensuring briefing slides are ready to present as required
    • Develop, and maintain all documentation relevant to the VoIP and VTC environment to include but not limited to concepts of operations (CONOPS), functional requirements documents (FRD), Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Change Configuration Release and Management (CCRM) Deployment Plan, doctrine, policies, processes, standards, and other supporting documentation
    • Coordinate with installation RCCs and Network Enterprise Centers (NECs) to ensure network connectivity is available and alert NEC system administrators about outages.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, sites, including posts, camps, and stations, on problems relating to the endpoints, bridges, VTC appliances, and Global Video Services (GVS).
    • Be prepared to support an eventual Enterprise IM and Collaboration Tool systems which may be integrated with the existing Enterprise Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and VTC Enterprise solutions for seamless call and communication routing, i.e. Jabber, Avaya, GenBand, Skype for Business, and Office 365.



    • Secret Clearance (required at performance start date)
    • IT Level I requiring Tier 5 Background Investigation
    • HS +12 or AA/AS +7 or BA/BS +4 years of related technical experience
    • Current IAT II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP). IA Certification Category and Level (IAW DoD 8570.10-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002)
    • Polycom Certification Video Engineer, ACE I, CCNA Collaboration or R/S, or Cisco Video Network Specialist required within 180 days of hire
    • Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
    • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
    • Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support
    • Willing to travel to Contingency of Operations Plan (COOP) sites 


    • Experience tracking, scheduling, coordinating and maintaining VTC and conference rooms
    • Providing support for NIPR and SIPR VoIP/VTC's both Unclassified/Classified
    • Configuring VTC systems for compliance with DoD and Army regulations DISA STIGs and IAVAs
    • Experience with Cisco Prime Collaboration application for managing VoIP phones
    • Experience with Cisco TelePresence Management Suite for managing VTC endpoints
    • Assist with issues and effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical problems
    • Document technical troubleshooting efforts in ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systems
    • Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadline
    • Follow organizational processes and polices
    • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members and colleagues
    • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities
    • Interact with customer representatives on highly advanced technical issues
    • Compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality
    • Recommends technologies to accomplish long-term objectives
    • Develops concepts, products, or technologies that extend knowledge in fields of expertise
