    Provide configuration management tracking, training scenario development, technical review, and document creation for a cyber center in Germany. Maintain a database of hardware and software configurations, and produce requested documentation associated with the aforementioned configurations. Ensure documentation and tracking of all aspects of hardware and/ or software baseline development and modification.

    1. Control changes to established master files of contractually required technical data. Lead configuration management, data management, and technical writing efforts. May structure and maintain databases, assist in using engineering design drawings, parts lists, code or other items to create and document baselines. Verify authorization for and incorporates all changes and/or additions.
    2. Responsible for logging, filing and tracking all necessary drawings, documents, lists and various other items.
    3. Compile and summarize data to use in preparing special reports. Track location of hardware/software in order to incorporate future changes and additions. Analyze operating data involving records, reports, transactions or other documents for accuracy and inconsistencies. Investigate questionable transactions and initiate corrections.
    4. Document processes and make recommendations for improvements. Provide work leadership to lower level staff. Write technical documents such as procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment.
    5. Plan and prepare the technical data for major publication projects. Support technical documentation compiling, writing/editing and/or coordinating. Coordinate/facilitate the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process.
    6. Performs other duties as assigned.



    • Education: BS/BA in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics and four years of experience.  Associates in Arts and seven years of experience.  Major Certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Software Engineer) and seven years of experience.  No degree/certification and eleven years of experience.

    • Certifications: Configuration Management II Certification (CMII), IAT II.

    • Clearance: Secret clearance (NACLC).

    • Specialized Experience: Two years of Configuration Management design and implementation. Two years direct experience with US military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
