    The Citrix administrator is the central point for architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix desktop and application virtualization for the cyber center in Germany. Administrator provides support of Citrix Web Interface and StoreFront for remote access and third-party access as well as application virtualization.

    Proven experience managing virtual desktop infrastructures (specifically leveraging Citrix XenDesktop) in large-scale enterprise environments. Troubleshooting connectivity and availability issues for users around the globe while adhering to established procedures 

    • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and development of multiple Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop farms from version 4.5 – 7.x and Citrix NetScalers.
    • Perform tuning and optimization of multiple Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop farms and Citrix NetScalers.
    • Install software.
    • Create and maintain system documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Apply operating system and software updates.
    • Work within a team environment to design, test and implement the technical solution required to accomplish the statement of work within the designated project schedule.



    • Education:Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience. 

      Certifications: Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) for Virtualization or Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Virtualization, and IAT-III Baseline Certification.

      Clearance: Secret clearance (SSBI). 

      Specialized Experience: Four years of experience using, developing and maintaining specific Citrix network application software delivery environments.  Four years maintaining Microsoft server-based platform. Two years direct experience with US military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
