As a Network Administrator, you will provide Network Administration support for the cyber center program. Responsible for maintaining efficient network communications based on customer requirements. Perform software and hardware installations and upgrades as necessary, implement network security and configuration controls, troubleshoot and resolve network failures. Monitor network utilization and provide performance metrics reports. Work with customers and System Administrators to define requirements and implement solutions.
Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience.
Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist, and DoD 8570.01 M, IAT Level III Baseline Certification.
Specialized Experience: Four years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks (on Ethernet, ATM/SONET and/or wide area transports); Three years must be in direct experience with US military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
Clearance: Secret clearance (SSBI).
