    • Develop and maintain Java and JavaScript applications
    • Research and implement corrective actions to resolve reported application problems.
    • Convert code currently in older technologies to newer technologies that are in line with the government's technology strategy without degrading application performance.
    • Apply development methodologies that are responsive to the needs of the government project managers.
    • Develop testing facilities and practices to ensure best practices, and in line with the client engineering environment.



    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a similar discipline.
    • At least 4 years of Java and JavaScript
    • Experience with jQuery, and SQL.
    • Expertise in the development and maintenance of Domain Specific Languages (DSL's).
    • A strong host language programmer's knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
    • Independent programming including responsibility for software development projects.
    • Support and operation of Web Services.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen





    • Knowledge of UI development and design principles.
    • Working knowledge of UNIX and Linux
    • Shell scripting
    • Experience in SDLC process and application documentation.
    • Experience with Drools, and Ruby on Rails is a plus
