  • Responsibilities



    • Primary duties include maintaining effective working relationships and coordinating with HQ directorate staffs and higher and lower echelons to promote acceptance or concurrence with program policies, procedures, and requirements.
    • Publish and maintain the Milestone Decision Review/Type Classification (MDR/TC) calendar with pending acquisition decisions and actions in progress. Additionally, maintaining the PEO Soldier MDR/TC checklists and guidebook.
    • Maintain the PEO Soldier Program/Product list
    • Manage the Acquisition document repository
    • Schedule Acquisition and Milestone Reviews
    • Manage JCIDS requirements and capability documents.
    • Facilitate Requirements workshops/IPTs
    • Coordinate PEO tasking tracking system and document review databases; coordinating and managing data content; administering and managing the PEO task log; tracking all suspenses to ensure compliance.
    • Draft Acquisition Directorate correspondence detailing program & personnel status for PEO signature and subsequent forwarding to Higher Headquarters.
    • Staff documents for new starts and existing programs.
    • Coordinate across multiple organizations and staff directorates.
    • Works on complex projects requiring original thinking and new approaches. The incumbent is typically engaged in multiple actions simultaneously and should possess experience directing and managing complex programs.
    • Ability to recognize and analyze complex problems, conduct research, summarize results, make appropriate recommendations, justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters involving significant or controversial issues.
    • Highly organized, be willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.



    • High School /GED and > 14 years
    • Associates and > 12 years
    • Bachelors in non Directly Related Field and > 10 years
    • Bachelors in Directly Related Field and > 5 years
    • Masters in non Directly Related Field and > 5 years
    • Masters in Directly Related Field and > 0 years


    • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security clearance.
    • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of databases and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.



    • DAWIA II/III Equivalent
    • Active DoD Secret Security clearance.
    • Experience in a ACAT I or II office
    • Familiarity with acquisition milestone reviews - (faciliting reviews of budgets, schedules, etc.) 
    • Experience with Army Contracting Command (ACC)



    This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
    • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 45 pounds
    • Travel by land or air transportation 25%
