    Responsibilities

    NCI is seeking a Fielding Logistics Specalist IV as a Instructor and be a member of the New Equipment Training (NET) Team/ Jumpmaster Team for PM Soldier Protective and Individual Equipment (PM-SPIE/NET), working directly for the assigned New Equipment Training Chief (military or civilian). The principal duties of the Instructor will be to certify, instruct and train Soldiers on all equipment items managed by PM-SPIEIn assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Able to present documented proof of being a former Instructor/ JM instructor; must be able to travel monthly to conduct and support training missions, system testing’s, training development, logistic demonstrations, Material Fielding’s, coordination visits and Instructor and Key Personnel Training.
    • Perform duties as a New Equipment Trainer (Instructor); formally trained by any US Army Basic Instructor Training Course.
    • Conducts New Equipment Training on assigned products
    • Must have some experience in developing Training Support Packages consisting of (multi-media training support products, system technical documentations that support New Equipment Training and unit sustainment training) in accordance with the US Army Training and Doctrine Command
    • Must have a minimum of 4 years Instructor experience; must not have been relieved of duties or have had their Instructor status terminated for alcohol or any substance abuse reason.
    • Assists with material Fielding plan and New Equipment Fielding Plans (NETP), total package fielding, and Government Furnished Equipment Training (NET).
    • Organizes and directs work, coordinates efforts related to the planning, programming and execution of the fielding operations
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a NET Trainer for the NET Team program. Develop Program of Instructions and lesson plans for PM-SPIE. Train DoD forces in the use of the system
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Security Clearance: Active Secret
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and analytical capabilities.
    • Prior experience with gathering, analyzing, and presenting facts both in oral and written presentations. 
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Other task as required.
    • Must be able to work as part of a larger team and be able to take direction from government/customer counterpart; must have an understanding of Military operations, training Soldiers and working with Senior Military Leadership.
    • Capable of becoming level I/ II certified in Acquisition and/or Logistics; have at least 1 year of related experience in one/some of the following fields: logistics support including material goods, personnel, transportation, maintenance and repair of systems throughout life cycle, development of documentation and test plans, ergonomic/human performance analysis, feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, policy standards/procedures development, long term reliability and maintainability, training development and execution, outsourcing, issuance and fielding of equipment, accountability, and documentation analysis.
    • Possess a US Passport.
    • Other task as required

      

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Experience in Jumpmaster procedures preferred 
    • High School AND 20 yrs experience OR

      Associates AND 16 yrs experience OR

      Bachelor in non-directly related field AND 15 yrs experience OR

      Bachelor in directly related field AND 10 yrs experience OR

      Masters in non-directly related field AND 10 yrs experience OR

      Masters in directly related field AND 7 yrs experience OR

      Doctorate AND 5 yrs experience.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

     

    This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

    • Sitting for long periods
    • Standing for long periods
    • Ambulate throughout an office
    • Ambulate between several buildings
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
    • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds
    • Travel by land or air transportation less than 75%
    • Able to recite up to 1500 words for JMPI
