    Responsibilities

    NCI: As the Help Desk Technician ( System Engineer I),  you utilize your Expert Engineering knowledge to support the Air Force's critical system of networks in a 24/7/365 technical support environment.. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. 

     

    Highlights of Responsibilities:

    • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents 
    • Manage Incidents via the use of the Air Force Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (EITSM) system
    • Support both secure and unsecured technologies including classified and unclassified incident management

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Active Secret clearance
    • At least one of the following certifications: ITIL v3, Security +
    • Experience with virtualization platforms
    • 3 or more years of in-depth experience in one or more areas such as network administration, storage area networks, firewalls, network security,  and network troubleshooting
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
