    NCI: As an Information Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing superior IA support services by performing Host Based Security System (HBSS) deployment, monitoring and support at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.


    • Install and configure applications such as Windows OS, Retina, ACAS, McAfee HBSS, SCCM, Symantec Antivirus, and Juniper NMS/firewall.
    • Diagnose and resolve problems/issues associated with IA vulnerability management (IAVM), HBSS, Symantec Antivirus, SCCM, Network Access Control (NAC), firewalls, and device patch management.
    • Perform HBSS policy development and management.
    • Provide customer support related to HBSS and antivirus issues.
    • Perform vulnerability scanning, reporting and remediation.
    • Provide support related to remediation/patch management issues to customers.
    • Perform Juniper NMS and/or CISCO management and firewall configurations.
    • Develop and monitor policies on the NAC.
    • Provide NAC management for devices.
    • Provide support to customers related to network access and individual device policy.
    • Provide lifecycle management for the applications and servers to ensure functional service delivery including diagnosis and resolution of technical issues.
    • Monitor, perform analysis, and maintain device logs; report violations/incidents IAW policies and procedures.
    • Install and configure other IA management systems as needed.
    • Identify potential IA issues to management.
    • Provide support to customers related to network access policies.
    • Process all applicable service requests IAW CIO/G6 C4IM service list.
    • Perform Network Access Control (NAC) policy development and management, vulnerability scanning and reporting, vulnerability remediation and customer support, log management, and forensic services.



    • Active Secret security clearance.
    • Active Security+ Certification and participating in the CompTIA CE program.
    • Bachelors’ degree in an Information Technology related discipline or an Associates' degree in an Information Technology related discipline and 2 years of equivalent experience
    • Intermediate proficiency in current McAfee HBSS, Symantec Antivirus, Forescout NAC, QTIP, eEye Retina scanner, ACAS, CISCO firewall, Juniper NMS/firewall, Windows operating systems (OS) and NetForensics log manager.
    • MCSA Windows 10 certification or ability to obtain in 6 months of hire.


     Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Prior military service or support of military customers
    • CCNA or CEH
