    NCIAs the Regional Coordinator (Project Manager II), you will be the contract interface with the state representatives within each states’ Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) department on the PERM contract.   It will be their responsibility to help develop and maintain a close relationship between the Data Processing Reviewer Teams and the MMIS department staff in each state. The Regional Coordinator is also responsible for the coordination of travel schedules for the Data Processing Review teams. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. 



    • Coordinate the logistics between multiple entities to successfully manage and execute assignments
    • Communicates with internal and external customers to implement changes and requirements 
    • Prepares reports for upper management regarding project status
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals 
    • Provides administrative support for members of the Data Processing Reviewer team
    • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task without compromising extreme attention to detail
    • Assists with ensuring compliance with CMS requirements
    • Remains current with changes in regulatory standards 
    • Ability to build consensus and establish collaboration amongst dispersed teams




    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 4-7 years of relevant work experience, and at least two (2) years of directly related experience with Medicaid/CHIP programs
    • Knowledge of the MMIS in multiple states
    • Knowledge of state Medicaid policies 


    • Bilingual (Spanish) - Fluency in speaking, reading and understanding the Spanish language. 
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Occasional travel is required
