    NCI: As an Operations Analyst for Project Manager Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment (SPIE), you will perform a variety of Administrative and Operational tasks with specific emphasis on organizing, managing, tracking, and configuration control of documentation within the PM.  You will be involved with updating reoccurring briefings, lists, documentation, databases and SharePoint sites.  You will be a point of contact on a wide variety of analytical, acquisition, and logistical issues. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.



    • Help develop and launch programs to improve operations and achieve success.
    • Work directly with high level governement and other personnel to obtain information and answers about products.
    • Will be involved with setting up on site exhibits for US Soldier Products and discussing the products with Foreign and US senior level officials.
    • Will be involved in moving "taskers" to appropriate personnel, tracking "taskers" and obtaining follow up.
    • Participates as a member of a group in achieving project objectives. 
    • Ensures activities involving application or implementation of recommendations are being met. 
    • Acts as internal resource, assisting project team leaders in the analysis, evaluation, troubleshooting, and documentation of products, processes, and systems. 
    • Provide assistance in acquisition, program and project management. 
    • Maintains databases.
    • Organizes and maintains SharePoint document libraries for Directorate with information provided from briefings, Milestone reviews, and past documents from a shared drive. 
    • Provides information needed for creating and updating briefings given to key individuals/groups internally and externally to the organization.
    • Tracks and reviews incoming taskers; makes recommendations for revisions to actions.
    • Assists team members in preparing and conducting displays and exhibits of Soldier equipment.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.



    • Security Clearance: DoD SECRET
    • Proficient with MS Office products.
    • Experience with communicating to and with high level personnel in written format.
    • Experience with presentations and giving oral presentations. 
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
    • Education and Experience requirements:
      • High School AND 10 yrs experience OR
      • Associates AND 7 yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in non-directly related field AND 4 yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in directly related field AND 1 yrs experience OR
      • Masters in non-directly related field AND 0 yrs.





    • Knowledge of Military Rank and Protocol.
    • Previous experience in project management activities.
