    Responsibilities

    NCI: As the Program Assistant,  you will be involved in coordinating travel, SOFA an SPOT requirements for the team supporting NETMOD Europe contract. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate travel, SOFA and SPOT requirements for team supporting NETMOD Europe.
    • Coordinates activities and functions of a designated program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications
    • Recommends new or revised program goals and objectives
    • Confers with and advises staff, students and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals and policy interpretation; refers to appropriate personnel when unable to directly respond
    • Coordinates activities of a program with inter-related activities of other programs, departments or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications
    • Prepares periodic reports, financial statements and/or records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management and/or outside agencies
    • Evaluates program effectiveness to develop improved methods; devises evaluation methodology and implements; analyzes results and recommends and/or takes appropriate action
    • Provides program administrative support for a large scale IT program
    • Develops a Project Management plan for all projects assigned, as well as other identified projects
    • Conferences on a regularly scheduled basis to identify milestones, pending tasks, outstanding action items and prioritize projects
    • Handles meeting relevant tasks; including but not limited to: soliciting agenda items, planning, coordinating and facilitating internal and external meetings; distributing meeting documentation to attendees; preparing and distributing meeting minutes; controlling follow-up of action items derived from each meeting
    • Facilitates communication between all relevant teams through regularly scheduled meetings and notification of changes in assignment status
    • Enters new assignments into relevant systems as they are received; including but not limited to: updating status changes, key actions and assigned staff, uploading meeting minutes and correspondence related to the assignment
    • Completes status updates on all workload assigned to task order and distributing on a weekly basis
    • Assists the team in development of presentation material, including PowerPoint presentations, as requested
    • Performs quality control on task order specific administrative deliverables
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
    • 2-7 years experience.

    This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

    • Sitting for long periods
    • Standing for long periods
    • Ambulate throughout an office
