    Responsibilities

    NCI: As the On-site Project Manager, for the Network Modernization (NETMOD) Europe contract supporting U.S. Army PEO EIS in upgrading data networking components throughout European theater, you will act as liaison between NCI support team and the Government PEO EIS Project Manager and various site leads in the conduct of all services performed under the NETMOD Europe contract. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.     Duties and Responsibilities:

     

     

    • Oversee the efforts of engineering staff to design, develop, engineer and implement solutions to security requirements
    • Responsible for the implementation and development of IT security services
    • Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements
    • Gather and organize technical information about an organization’s mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena
    • Perform functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships
    • Perform functional allocation and identify resources required for each task
    • Perform risk analysis that also include risk assessment
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of the organization’s information security services
    • Provide support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and defines future programs, design and implementation of security related to IT systems
    • Shall assist government Program Managers who are managing specific programs at the Delivery Order or Technical Task order (TTO) level
    • Assist the Government Program Managers with the management, administrative and technical oversight of the specific program portfolio
    • Working knowledge of several of the following areas is required; understanding of business security practices and procedures; knowledge of current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools
    • Familiarity with commercial Information Assurance products
    • Responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer
    • Monitor project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
    • Provide the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received
    • May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs

    Qualifications

     

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
    • 10 – 15 Years exprience
    • DODI 8570, IAT I/II certified

     

     Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly desired
    • CISCO CCNA or CCNP certificaiton.
