    Responsibilities

    NCI: As the Vice President of Business Development, you will report to the Corporate Senior Vice President (VP) of Business Development and will lead the Business Development (BD) initiatives for the Senior VP of Agile & Analytics Sector. This role will be responsible for leading the strategy to improve NCI's market position and achieve financial growth. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

     

     

    Highlights of Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development of long-term client relationships that will ensure the Company’s long-term success and objective attainment in the Federal Government and/or Commercial marketplace
    • Attains sales, orders, and profit objectives within headcount and budget perimeters
    • Develops a strategic plan that leverages the core capabilities of the Company and integrates these capabilities to position the company as a premier provider of information technology solutions
    • Establishes a market research database to track issues, trends and opportunities
    • Identifies, targets, qualifies, prioritizes, and contributes to winning contract programs through information gathering and dissemination, development of opportunity capture strategies, and development of opportunity capture statistics
    • Provides annual forecast data
    • Establishes, implements and manages marketing/sales support for all Company public relations, marketing, trade shows, etc.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related technical discipline or equivalent related experience
    • At least fifteen (15) years of progressive relevant experience
    • Excellent understanding of government contracting essential
    • Knowledge of Shipley Process preferred
