    Responsibilities

    NCI:  Is looking to hire an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Developer with Comercial sector experience.  With the launch of Shai, our new Machine Learning/AI product, this is a new position that will be responsible for automating and delivering the product to our clients. This is a new position, the ideal candidate will have to be flexible and have the ability to work within an ambiguous work environment as we solidify the position details.  

     

     

    • Responsibilities include identification, qualification, and capture leading to award of major programs
    • Oversight of customer contact, positioning and teaming interactions
    • Coordinates with other internal business development resources available across the organization
    • Sets capture targets and defines strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
    • Manages the proposal development process and maintains the time-lines for the proposal teams
    • Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers
    • Leads development of new business opportunities that support the overall growth strategy
    • Manages the marketing, sales and product development teams to implement business development initiatives
    • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing the results of past campaigns and developing new initiatives and partnerships
    • Responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
    • Prior Civilian program and IT business development experience preferable
    • Experience with customer relationship management and opportunity tracking as well as experience with a variety of contract types including cost plus fixed price, and performance based contracting are key
    • 4 – 9 Years experience with Comercial Business Development
    • While this position currently does not require a DoD clearance is may require obtaining one in the future to either a Secret or Top Secret level.

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Strong experience in the commercial market place, and a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence.

    This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

    • Sitting for long periods
    • Standing for long periods
    • Ambulate throughout an office
    • Ambulate between several buildings
    • Travel by land or air transportation 80% as this is heavy sales position.
