    NCI: As an Acquisition Logistician, you will support Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PdM SPE) programs within PEO Soldier at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will have an opportunity to develop and execute strategic plans and policy, determines requirements and needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and outside personnel, assists in the preparation and execution of logistic product management. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

    Highlights of Responsibilities:
    • Conduct strategic level focused planning and analysis for all lifecycle logistics management functions.
    • Manage preparation of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP) , Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), New Equipment Training Plans (NETP), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) requirements, Standard Management Asset Readiness Tool (SMART) inventory system requirements, Core Logistics Assessment (CLA)/Source of Repair Analysis (SORA), Unique Identification (UID) Plans, analyzes supply chains for optimization, and oversees the Materiel Release and Type Classification process of items.
    • Develop plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and outside personnel.
    • Act as a senior resource for a specific logistical disciplines or functions.
    • Provide overall leadership and guidance abilities for a function or department.
    • Plan and manages assignments, progress and evaluates results.
    • Assure critical logistic actions are integrated/properly executed to meet logistics support requirements in execution of the Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology and Life Cycle Management Systems for systems managed by PM SPIE.
    • Apply the 12 elements of Integrated Logistics Support during the planning for and execution of programs Coordinates/exercises managerial direction over integration of supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, item introduction provisioning and other logistical functions.
    • Manage development of and reviews Integrated Logistics Support Plan, training plan, Technical Manuals, Major Item Distribution Plan. Core Logistics/Source of Repair Analysis, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and budget for systems/equipment.
    • Represent Product Manager, Project Leader, have an understanding on implementing Divestiture Plans, and command at high level conferences and meetings.
    • Prepare or coordinate activities and documentation for system Type Classification and Material Release.
    • Monitor available stock for fielding, to include components due in from production contracts.
    • Coordinate the draft fielding schedule with HQDA G-8 and synchronizing with PM SPIE.


    • Active Security Clearance: SECRET.
    • Possesses a thorough understanding of DoD 5000 Acquisition Series of documents.
    • DAWII Level II certification or Equivalency.
    • Experience with developing and executing strategic plans and policies.
    • Possess strong knowledge and experience in the areas of Federal Acquisition Logistics and Program Management Logistics.
    • Education and Experience requirements:
      • High School AND 20 yrs experience OR
      • Associates AND 16 yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in non-directly field AND 15 yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in directly related field AND 10 yrs experience OR
      • Masters in non-directly related field AND 10 yrs experience OR
      • Masters in directly related field AND 7 yrs experience OR
      • Doctorate AND 5 yrs experience.
