    NCI: As the Acquisition Analyst ( Acquisition SME ), you will provide support for Product Manager (PdM) Soldier Maneuver Sensors (SMS) of PEO Soldier at Fort Belvoir, VA, using your DAWIA and DoD 5000 experience. You will develop and execute strategic plans and policy, determines requirements and needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and outside personnel, assists in the preparation and execution of budgets and manages staff. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

    Highlights of Responsibilities:
    • Develop and executes plans and policy.
    • Determine requirements and needs.
    • Investigate and resolves problems.
    • Interface with other functions and outside personnel.
    • Assist in the preparation and execution of budgets and manages staff.
    • Work on complex projects which will require original thinking and new approaches.
    • Provide day to day direction to guide aid and manage others on a major program, sets priorities and ensures that the work products for the group conform to standards.
    • Provide support to processes and systems.
    • Perform research, designs and determines solutions and prepares recommendations; evaluates performance, reliability and other relevant factors; integrates and coordinates several activities.


    • Travel up to 25% may be required.
    • Security Clearance: Active SECRET.
    • Education and Experience requirements:
      • High School AND 20yrs translatable experience OR
      • Associates field AND 16yrs translatable experience OR
      • Bachelor in non-directly 15yrs translatable experience OR
      • Bachelor in directly related field AND 10yrs translatable experience OR
      • Masters in non-directly related field AND 10yrs translatable experience OR
      • Masters in directly related field AND 7yrs translatable experience OR
      • Doctorate AND 5yrs translatable experience
    • Well versed in DAWIA practices (DAWIA Level II or equivalent preferred).
    • Experience with creating and maintaining Acquisition Documentation.
    • Possess knowledge and experience in the areas of Federal acquisition, program or project management.
    • Experience with DoD Acquisition processes (DoD 5000).
