    Responsibilities

    NCI: As the Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst ( Program Logistics Analyst ) based out of Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, you will have an opportunity to work within Project Manager Soldier Weapons providing logistics management support. You will serve as a highly-skilled and productive team member to achieve Army-wide audit readiness objectives by maintaining a focus on achieving business functionality via existence and completeness testing in cooperation with Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller). In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

    Highlights of Responsibilities
    :
     
    • Serve as a member on a variety of ad hoc groups established to evaluate and resolve logistics management issues from a systemic/programmatic perspective.
    • Conducts strategic level focused planning and analysis for all life-�cycle management functions. 
    • Manages preparation of Lifecycle Sustainment Plans LCSP), Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP) , Memorandum of Notification (MOA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), New Equipment Training Plans (NETP), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) requirements, Standardized requirements, Standard Management Asset Readiness Tool (SMART) inventory system requirements, Core Logistics Assessment (CLA)/Source of Repair Analysis (SORA), Unique Identification (UID) Plans, analyzes supply chains for optimization, and oversees the Materiel Release and Type Classification process of items.
    • Develops plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and outside personnel.
    • Acts as a senior resource for a specific logistics discipline or function.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Active DoD Secret (or ability to obtain).
    • Highly skilled with logistics systems such as: DPAS, PBUSE, LMP, and GCSS Army.
    • Possesses a thorough understanding of DoD 5000 Series and AR 700‐127.
    • Working knowledge on Microsoft Office (MS Office) tools to include Word, Excel and Power Point.
    • Ability to build and manipulate advanced Excel workbooks for property procurement and management activities.
    • Education and Experience requirements:
    • Education and Experience requirements:
      • High School AND 20yrs experience OR
      • Associates field AND 16yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in non-directly 15yrs experience OR
      • Bachelor in directly related field AND 10yrs experience OR
      • Masters in non-directly related field AND 10yrs experience OR
      • Masters in directly related field AND 7yrs experience OR
      • Doctorate AND 5yrs experience.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • STRONG skill set/experience in property accountability.
    • STRONG skill set/experience in practical hands on application in the field of logistics management accountability.
    • Experience at the unit/organization level (Senior NCO/Warrant Officer).
    • Possesses thorough understanding of DoD 5000 Acquisition directive and AR 7000-127.
